William Stout2023-03-21Nice Product Very good product, highly recommended.SpeedD4082023-01-18This table is heavy!! - bring a friend With the other reviews I was a bit skeptical but I noticed a price drop from over $1200 to about $650 + tax and shipping. Therefore I figured it was worth it. The table came disassembled and on a pallet (as expected). Shipping weight was 243 lbs/110.22kgs (per FedEx Freight) so bring a friend to help.The legs, stringer, leg extensions, leveling kit and guards are super easy to put together. Everything uses the same screw/nut combination so all you need is a #3 Philips screw driver and a 1/2 wrench to hold the nut.The top is not hard, it is just large and heavy (which is exactly what I wanted). 12-gauge steel is not light.After putting the top on, flipping it over and attaching the rear and side guards, it looks fantastic. It is steady (very little wobble if any at all). All the surfaces are perfect (no scratches from the boxing, unboxing or shipping process).Overall, I am very impressed with the table. I did not use the bottom shelf as I want to use the bottom for storage (currently have an engine block on a dolly under it). When I'm done with the engine, I many put the shelf on latter. TBD.One last thing, These are brand new, fresh off the line. I placed my order on 1/4/23 and the dates on some of the packing paperwork was from 1/3/23. Therefore, at least my unit was not sitting in a warehouse for 18 months collecting dust and getting damaged. I was very happy when I saw how soon the the MFG date was to the date received.Steve C.2021-12-29So close to 5 stars... Decent workbench, but it's just not near as sturdy as it would have been if they had just made the back support piece, and the shelf, actually attach fully. The metal support piece on the back that attaches to the legs could attach in 4 places if it was long enough, but they cut it so that it just barely makes it to the legs and only attaches with 2 bolts on each leg. Same for the bottom shelf, they made it so that it just barely reaches the piece it rests on and only attaches with 2 bolts...such a waste! Because of skimping on a few inches and a few bolts, the whole bench can sway a little and isn't near as strong as it would have been had they made those two support pieces go the full distance, and attach with 4 bolts on each side instead of just 2.Due to that, and the inherent instability of the tiny leveler feet, the workbench is gonna feel shaky unless I attach it to a wall and the floor for added stability, or add more support pieces/redo the leveler feet with something more solid.So for the price I was a little disappointed they dropped the ball at the 10 yard line, but over all it's still a good all metal work bench, and it has a lot of positive attributes like thick gauge metal, solid fasteners, and 3 sides to keep small components from wandering off the sides and back.Ryan Pope2021-06-14NICE Table Some of the hardware had a bit of an issue (poorly cut threads), but I had one of the same sized bolts in my stock.Peter K.2021-02-04Sturdy, good quality finish If you are looking for a good heavy duty workbench. However, we were a bit apprehensive due to the only 2-star rating, but decided to give it a shot. Boy how glad we are that we did so. It is absolutely perfect! Extremely sturdy and heavy, nice finish, and the instructions were easy to follow. We will probably purchase another when it comes time to expand (which the guide also has instructions for).
